“In the FP1 session earlier, I indeed struggled a lot with the bike. I couldn’t bring the bike to a halt effectively at every corner during the practice sessions and had difficulty controlling the bike. I couldn’t set good lap times. In the FP2 session, my team made some adjustments to the bike, and I experienced a slight improvement in terms of braking points and sliding. However, I still grappled with the bike and I hope tomorrow I can improve my lap times and qualify for Q2.”

“In the FP3 session earlier, my team made changes to the machine, but I still feel the same. So, I couldn’t adapt well to the machine. During the qualifying session, my team made significant changes to the machine, and there was an improvement compared to before, but there are still some setups that we need to fix. I am not happy with the session results this week. This is my home race, so I am somewhat disappointed that I couldn’t show a good performance in front of all the fans. I’m hopeful that we can find a better setup tomorrow that will make me feel more confident with the bike and lead to better results.”

“First of all, I am grateful to have successfully completed the race even though I fell in the last 5 laps, and re-joined. I am not happy with the result this time, but I have made a lot of improvements in terms of the bike and competed for points in the race. During the sighting lap, I felt that my bike could compete for points, and I was more confident from the beginning of the race. By lap 10, I was in the top 13. I was confident that I could finish in the top 13. But, unfortunately, it was not my luck this week. I hope my team maintains the same bike setup for the next race so that I am more confident and can identify more weak points for to be more confident to make it through Q2. With 2 rounds remaining, I hope to show something and secure race points. Thanks to all the supporters and motorsport fans in Malaysia, I am very excited and happy to see all the fans who came to support me this week.”
