PTR Triumph’s Tom Booth-Amos is aiming to carry his impressive momentum from the last race in Portugal into the third round of the 2025 FIM Supersport World Championship at the iconic TT Circuit Assen this weekend.

After another podium finish with a very strong performance in Portugal, British rider Booth-Amos is focused on keeping his Championship fight alive with another top result at one of the most renowned tracks in the world.  

Tom Booth-Amos: “I hope to continue the form from the first two rounds this weekend in Assen.  It’s one of my favourite tracks so I’m looking forward to getting out again.”

Teammate Oli Bayliss is determined to bounce back as he heads into the third round this weekend.  After a challenging time of it in Portugal, the Aussie rider is refocused and keen to show his true potential at the fast and technical Dutch track.  With the support of the team, Bayliss is hopeful to leave behind the disappointment of Portimão and make a strong comeback.

Oli Bayliss: “Really excited to get going racing again here in Assen.  We made good progress with the bike through the Portimão weekend although it didn’t look that way and ended in a bad way but we’re ready to go.  I’m confident we can have a good weekend and keep the ball rolling.”

PTR Triumph Racing Factory Team Manager Simon Buckmaster: “On the back of another podium and strong two rides in Portimão, after a bad qualifying we pulled this one out of the bag – full respect to everyone in the team – we come to Assen in a confident mood still challenging for the title which we want to be doing all season.  With Oli, a disappointing Portimão round.  We will work with him on giving full focus and concentration at all times, he is capable, he proved that in Australia.  We need to get him back into the top ten and strong points so the whole team will be working hard for that.  Assen has been a strong track for us in the past as PTR and we need for it to be again so looking forward to the weekend, let’s see what we can do.”
