“This is my first victory. The second race was quite challenging due to the wet track conditions. I could feel that my machine was well set up for the wet track. I tried to create a gap from the first lap and maintained my pace, which allowed me to finish the race in first place.
In yesterday’s Race 1, I also managed to put up a strong fight with the front group, but after the red flag, the race was restarted. I started quite aggressively and overtake another rider, which unfortunately led to an accident and I was penalised. I would like to dedicate this victory to the people of Malaysia in celebration of the 67th Independence Day. Malaysia Boleh!”
