Reigning Pirelli National Superstock Champion Davey Todd, who will ride Milwaukee BMW Motorrad machinery next season for TAS Racing, will make a welcome return to the Bennetts British Superbike Championship this weekend at Oulton Park.

Todd will stand in for Danny Buchan at the Cheshire venue as he continues his recovery from a crash at Cadwell Park, riding the team’s SYNETIQ BMW M 1000 RR in Bennetts BSB.

Todd said: “I really can’t wait to ride. I feel for Danny having to miss out, but this gives me a great opportunity to make my debut for TAS Racing on the SYNETIQ BMW, and no better place than the British Superbike Championship. It’s a great chance to get some race miles under my belt with the team and the Oulton Park circuit has a bit of everything and somewhere I enjoy racing.”
