DAO Racing head to Cadwell Park, one of Danny’s favourite tracks

For #83 DAO Racing Kawasaki Buchan doesn’t feel the results reflect the progression made. Heading into Cadwell Park he leaves confident the next round will come with strong improvements and deserved results.

With an improved race pace of 10 seconds for #51 rookie Elliott, he accepts the challenges and learnings gained from round 7 and looks forward to heading back to continue his progress in Round 8 at the Cadwell Park August bank holiday weekend event.

Danny Buchan, Superbike Rider #83:

‘It’s been an up and down weekend, I don’t think it’s s bad as the weekend results show., we’ve made a massive amount of progress at Thruxton this weekend. Obviously it’s disappointing coming off the back of a really good weekend at Brands, where I feel like we showed so much progression and I feel like we’ve come to Thruxton, which is a completely different circuit, so I don’t think the progression we’ve shown has been completely translated here. But I’m very confident and grateful for the team, because I know when we go to Cadwell we will have a bike that should work relatively well round there, I like Cadwell Park, it’s strong track for me and I think the progress we’ve made throughout the year will show there. Because of the nature of the Thruxton circuit, being fast, flat, windy. So not the greatest of weekends, I just really believe in the team and believe we can get to the front, where we belong.’

Brayden Elliott, Superbike Rider #51:

‘We definitely ended on a positive note this weekend, my race pace today was 10 seconds quicker overall, so that was positive. It has been a challenge, trying to figure out how to maximise the bike and myself around here, but every session has been in the right direction, I’m learning heaps and we have ended on a positive so I can leave with my head held high. As a team we progressed a little bit and I’m keen to keep this ball rolling, bringing it into Cadwell and continuing to get the most out of myself.’
