The Bend Motorsports Park in South Australia is once again set to host the final round of the Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) this weekend where Broc Pearson is set to face two 11-lap races around the 7.7km circuit aboard the 2023 DesmoSport Ducati Panigale V4 R to close out the 2023 season.
Team co-owner, Ben Henry: “I’m really excited to get to the track this weekend. After Phillip Island last month, we travelled across to test at the circuit, the first time here with the new bike, and it was really positive. Broc did a fantastic job that allowed us to gain some critical data. The pace will no doubt be fast, but I’m confident in Broc‘s development this season, and in the bike we’ve given him for another strong result this weekend.”
Team co-owner, Troy Bayliss: “Broc‘s continued to develop over the season, and although the results on paper last round weren’t his strongest, it was easily his best performance. We had a good test, and Broc enjoys The Bend, so I’m looking forward to how the weekend will unfold.”
Broc Pearson: “I’m really enjoying the new bikes, and it feels like we’ve made some good steps forward with the overall setup of the bike through the race weekend at Phillip Island and again at the test we did at The Bend. We made some smart decisions last round to get good results on track, and I’m confident that we will keep moving forward this weekend and finish the season with a strong result.”
