Alastair Seeley and Synetiq BMW take third in the National Superstock Championship

Alastair Seeley finished his 2023 National 1000cc Superstock campaign with SYNETIQ BMW in third place overall. Always guaranteed to deliver, Seeley returned to TAS Racing to continue his tenure with the Northern Ireland based team – and with 9 podiums on the official BMW Motorrad M1000RR package, he again proved his value for both team and manufacturer. He signed off the season with a second and fourth place at the Brands Hatch finale over the weekend.

Alastair Seeley: “It’s been a great season with TAS Racing. Once we found our feet with the package we got stronger and more consistent as the season progressed. Only for those couple of rounds where I was taken off track, we might have been a little closer to really having a go at winning the Championship. But all in all it’s been a strong season for myself, the team and the BMW M1000RR. I’d love to do it all again in 2024. Thanks to everyone for their support, none less than everyone at TAS Racing, BMW Motorrad UK and all the team’s loyal band of sponsors. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.”

Philip Neill – Team Principal: “Alastair is one of those riders that you always know what you’re going to get: desire, commitment and tenacity – this season was no different. The Superstock series is currently ultra competitive but his consistency throughout the year proved that age is certainly no barrier to success. He did a great job for TAS Racing and also got the very best out of the M1000RR package.”
