Hakim Danish finishes on the podium in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup at Le Mans

Hakim Danish and ZK Racing led a few laps of Race Two of the Red Bull Rookies Cup at Le Mans but on the last lap he was overtaken by a couple of riders. He still takes third and valuable championship points.

Davey Todd rides superbly and racks up the wins and podiums at NW 200 in Supersport, Superstock and Superbike

Having previously won three North West Supersport races, Todd further established his reputation as the rising star of road racing by clinching a further victory in that class, but also securing a double in the Superstock category and three runner-up positions in the feature events.

Glenn Irwin becomes the most successful NW 200 superbike rider ever

Glenn Irwin made history at the International North West 200 when he became the most successful Superbike rider in the history of the event as the Hager PBM Ducati rider won all three races around the high-speed 8.97-mile circuit linking the Northern Ireland towns of Portstewart, Coleraine and Portrush.

Dean Harrison and John McGuinness take podiums at the NW 200 for Honda Racing

A two-day test in the run up to the races gave all the riders an opportunity to get up to speed at such a fast and demanding circuit. It was good to see Jason running at the front with Max not far behind. All in all, a long winter followed by a very busy four-week period to kick off the season.

Royal Navy Royal Marines Road Race Team Donington Park Report

For this round the team consisted of team manager Adam Myhill on his trusty Yamaha R6, Alan Curtis on the team's BMW S1000RR, Natalie Cro on her beautiful Honda CB500 and Harry Morris on his newly built Honda CB500 and Honda CBR600. New riders Liam Sutherland on his Kawasaki Ninja 600, and Andrew Stuart on his BMW S1000RR also participated.

Glenn Irwin claims superbike pole, Richard Cooper provisional supersport pole and Davey Todd is fastest in superstock at NW200

Glenn Irwin dipped under the official lap record on a day of glorious sunshine on the north coast to claiming pole position in the Superbike class after the opening qualifying session of the Briggs Equipment North West 200. TGlenn posted a speed of 124.895mph, 0.2 seconds quicker than Peter Hickman’s official lap record speed of 124.799mph.

Hawk Racing and Michael Dunlop join forces again for roads campaign

Hawk Racing’s team manager Steve Hicken said: “We’re delighted to be continuing our long-standing relationship with Michael. He’s a truly exceptional talent and we share his appetite for success. Road racing is an important part of the team’s heritage and both the TT and North West 200 are big priorities for us alongside our Bennetts British Superbikes campaign."

A mixed weekend at the Oulton Park office for FHO Racing

Josh Brookes is making good progress with his M 1000 RR wecuring three top ten finishes at Oulton Park. Unfortunately for Peter Hickman, he had a big crash in qualifying and crashed out in the final race. Luckily he is ok and will be heading to the NW200 to compete with his PHR Performance team.

Christian Iddon on the podium in all 3 races and Ben Currie takes a win and a second for Motorapido Racing

Ryan Vickers and Kyle Ryde on the podium at Oulton Park

Both Kyle Ryde and Ryan Vickers were on the podium at Oulton Park. Kyle came third in race one and Ryan finished third in race three.

Jack Kennedy gets another podium and Tommy Bridewell finishes second at Oulton Park

Dubliner Jack Kennedy delivered yet more silverware for the Honda team. At times leading the way on his CBR600RR, he now sits at the top of the championship standings by a single point. Tommy Bridewell delivered a sublime ride from fourth on the grid in race one to rocket his Fireblade into a superb second place finish.
