Ten Kate Racing’s Manzi and Navarro make strides during final two-day test at Phillip Island ahead of first race weekend of 2023

Over the past two days, Ten Kate Racing made final preparations ahead of the the 2023 FIM Supersport World Championship during the official test at the Phillip Island Circuit. With Stefano Manzi and Jorge Navarro as new riders within the team, important steps were made to go into the new season in the best possible way.

Puccetti Racing’s Sykes makes progress while Oncu continues to shine during Phillip Island tests

In Superbike, Tom Sykes and his team were able to get through all the work they had planned. Having set a best of 1’32”388 on Monday, the Englishman was able to lower his time on Tuesday, recording a 1’32”181 despite a crash that caused damage to his bike.
In Supersport Can Oncu once again proved to be a frontrunner in the category with a performance that saw the Kawasaki Puccetti Racing rider complete the test in third place overall.

Phillip Island WorldSBK testing concludes ahead of race weekend

The Official Test came to an end and ahead of the first round of the season – the Grand Ridge Brewery Australian Round – and it was Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) who topped the times and leads the way into a new season of racing.

Day One of WorldSBK testing at Phillip Island

It was a dramatic day of testing for the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit on Day 1 of the Official Test as Toprak Razgatlioglu (Pata Yamaha Prometeon WorldSBK) topped the times by 0.099s despite an FP1 crash, while all three of the ‘titanic trio’ from 2022 crashed on the opening day.

Manuel Puccetti's team moved to Australia, where it will hold the last two days of testing on Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st February, in preparation for the first round of the Superbike and Supersport World championships which will also take place on the Phillip Island track on the weekend of 24, 25 and 26 February.
