Philipp Oettl and Team Go Eleven so close to top 10 results in the WorldSBK races at Portimao

Philipp Oettl battled through illness this weekend at Portimao and just missed out on a top 10 result in the race by a few tenths. The team had a good weekend overall and will take on Argentina next, where hopefully Philipp will be at full health.

Can Oncu on the podium in Portimao, while Lucas Mahias collects points, as does Yari Montella before crashing in Race 2

It was a weekend of ups and downs for Puccetti Racing at Portimao with Montella and Mahias both crashing out, but Can Oncu carved his way through the grid in Race 2 in Supersport to claim a podium spot in third place.

Ten Kate Racing heads to Portimão in great shape for final European round of the season

Ten Kate Racing travels to Portimão full of confidence with a fantastic weekend in Barcelona still fresh in its memory. Dominique Aegerter took pole position with a new lap record and then won both races. Leonardo Taccini also made the team smile by turning a difficult starting position into a points finish twice with ninth place in Race 2 as his best result so far in the World Supersport class.

Ten Kate Racing signs Jorge Navarro for 2023 World Supersport season

Navarro made his debut as a regular rider in the Moto3 class in 2015 and was immediately on the podium four times making him ‘Rookie of the Year’. The following year, the Spaniard took his first two Grand Prix victories before making the move to the Moto2 class in 2017. His best season was in 2019 when Navarro was on the podium no less than eight times and finished fourth in the Moto2 world championship.
