Joe Francis joins Eazi-Grip supported Stauff Fluid Power Kawasaki for 2022 BSB Superstock season

Joe Francis will join former title-winners STAUFF Fluid Power Kawasaki in the 2022 Pirelli National Superstock Championship, signing for a return to GR Motosport after recent seasons in the Bennetts British Superbike Championship as STAUFF continue into its tenth year with the team.

The 2022 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship is getting nearer to lights out, as day one of the new year on track has been completed. Team HRC, Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK, Puccetti Racing and others all hit the Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto for the first of two days testing, which saw Alex Lowes (Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK) on top ahead of rookie Spaniards Xavi Vierge (Team HRC) and teammate Iker Lecuona.

Official debut for Bryan Staring on the DesmoSport Ducati Pangale V4 R

Bryan Staring has made his official debut on the DesmoSport Ducati Panigale V4 R at Phillip Island this week as the team prepares for round one of the Australian Superbike Championship (ASBK) at the iconic circuit on February 25-27.

World SBK 2022 testing calendar

While the racing for the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship is due to begin at MotorLand Aragon at the start of April, teams and riders will be looking to take advantage of some of their 10 available test days to prepare for the new season. Just after the Indonesian Round that concluded the 2021 season, Alvaro Bautista was back on track with Aruba.it Racing – Ducati while there was a three-day test at Jerez for Kawasaki, BMW and Honda.

Two days of testing at Jerez for Eazi-Grip supported Kawasaki Puccetti Racing

Kawasaki Puccetti Racing will carry out a two-day test at the Jerez de la Frontera track in Spain on 26-27 January. This will serve as an initial shakedown, in preparation for the Superbike and Supersport world championships that will get underway over the weekend of 8-10 April at Motorland Aragon in Spain.

The DAO Racing team is gearing up for a busy roads and short circuits season in 2022 after securing rider Dean Harrison for two more years.
The Bradford-based roads ace will return to the team which powered him to 2019 Isle of Man Senior TT victory as the squad returns for another full season of Bennetts British Superbike Championship action alongside a packed programme of road racing.

The team continue to look to develop young talent and are now looking forward to a full testing programme with a four-day test in Southern Spain in just a few weeks’ time.

Taccini joins Aegerter at Eazi-Grip supported Ten Kate Racing for 2022 World Supersport campaign

Ten Kate Racing has signed Leonardo Taccini as its second rider for its 2022 FIM Supersport World Championship campaign. The 19-year-old Italian will be the teammate of reigning world champion Dominique Aegerter who recently extended his agreement with the Dutch team.
