Former British Champion Cook returns for Superstock 600 debut supported by Eazi-Grip supported FS-3 Racing

Former British champion Max Cook will make his debut in the Pirelli National Superstock 600 Championship this season, supported by FS-3 Racing, Kawasaki’s official Bennetts British Superbike Championship team.
Cook returns to the Bennetts BSB paddock in 2021 after three years in the Red Bull Rookies and the Junior World Championship. The 2017 Motostar Moto3 standard class champion and British Talent Cup front-runner’s recent highlights include a Rookies podium at the Sachsenring and a best finish of fifth place at Aragon in the Junior World Championship Moto3 class.

Difficult track conditions restrict running again at Jerez

The weather once again caused havoc with the scheduled two-day test at the Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto as a wet track from yesterday’s rain stopped the majority of the teams and riders present going out on track. Like the opening day, the only rider to head out was FIM Supersport World Championship rookie Leonardo Taccini with the Italian continuing to get up to speed with his new machine for the 2021 season.

World Superbike: Testing resumes this week at Jerez

As the new year rolls around, track action returns in the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship as teams and riders prepare for a two-day test at the Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto. 11 riders from WorldSBK plus one from WorldSSP will return to track action as preparations for the 2021 season step up another gear. The test takes place on Wednesday and Thursday from 10am Local Time (GMT+1) until 6pm.

Multiple British champion Roger Marshall will join Eazi-Grip supported McAMS Yamaha as rider coach and ambassador for Yamaha’s bLU cRU programme

Multiple British champion Roger Marshall will join the McAMS Yamaha team for the 2021 Bennetts British Superbike season in the role of rider coach and ambassador for Yamaha’s bLU cRU programme in the Junior Supersport class.
Marshall dominated the British motorcycle racing scene in the seventies and eighties, winning a total of 11 British Championships. He also finished second to Joey Dunlop in the 1984 F1 World Championship as well making multiple appearances in Grand Prix Racing while also finishing on the podium at the prestigious Isle of Man TT.

The 2021 British Superbike Championship provisional calendar has been announced following approval by its governing body, the MCRCB.

Benavides clinches Dakar Rally title for Honda

Kevin Benavides clinched his first Dakar Rally title on Friday's 12th and final stage of the event, giving Honda back-to-back wins in the motorcycle class.
Having initially held a lead of 4m12s after Thursday's penultimate test of the rally, Benavides' hopes were given a boost when his advantage over KTM rider Sam Sunderland was revised upwards to 5m07s due to a failure with the organisers' GPS equipment.

As part of the ‘Honda Superbike Challenge Program’, Honda Racing UK have signed Ryo Mizuno for the 2021 Bennetts British Superbike Championship aboard the race winning CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP. Bringing a wealth of experience from the All-Japan series, as well as the Suzuka 8 Hours aboard Fireblade machinery, this will be the first time Ryo has raced on UK soil.

Dakar 2021 Stage 11: Sunderland slashes Benavides’ lead

KTM rider Sam Sunderland took a major chunk of time out of Dakar Rally leader Kevin Benavides on the penultimate stage, with four minutes splitting the pair heading into the final day.
Sunderland scored his first stage win of the 2021 Dakar on the shortened 464km Al Ula-Yanbu stage, more than halving the 10-minute deficit he faced to Honda man Benavides.

Dakar 2021 Stage 10: Benavides takes lead as Cornejo retires

Kevin Benavides moved into the lead of the Dakar Rally after overnight leader Jose Cornejo retired from the race following a crash on Wednesday's Stage 10.
Honda rider Cornejo had held a substantial 11 minute lead heading into the 342km test between Neom and Alula, with a maiden win in his sight.
